TAKEDOWN CAMP OVERVIEW
Run in conjunction with our Technique Camps, the Takedown Camps focus on wrestling strategies from the neutral position and instruction on “on the feet” maneuvers. One-on-one review sessions dissect every movement related to the neutral position.
Featuring high-profile national and regional staff, our Takedown Camps cover the neutral position. The basic fundamentals to advanced college-level match strategies are taught and reviewed with an emphasis on skill development.
Daily schedules consist of three on-mat training sessions offering campers a variety of work-out partners based on age and ability—all in small group settings.
Each day a different special guest will be invited to providing campers with motivational and inspirational speeches.
Ideal for wrestlers 8-18 years of age.*
*Must be at least 10 years old to stay overnight in the dorms at Minnesota Camps.
J Robinson Wrestling Camps are directed by NCAA Division I Champion coaches along with Olympic Medalist and All-American wrestlers. Active University of Minnesota wrestlers serve as supporting staff at most camps while our technique training programs across the country feature regional all-star talent. Our premier roster of coaches and wrestlers will train side-by-side with campers and exemplify the dedication, discipline and work ethic that are the core values of J Robinson Camps.
