Since 2012, JROB Intensive Wrestling Camps has partnered with Smile Network International (SNI), a Minnesota-based nonprofit humanitarian organization, to raise funds to provide life-changing facial surgery to impoverished children and young adults in developing countries. We place a donation box at each one of the four JROB Intensive Camps and encourage campers to donate. Our company then matches their donations dollar-for-dollar, resulting in donations totaling $43,653 over the past five years. On September 30, 2017, J Robinson was honored by SNI as one of the year’s “Champion of Hope” award recipients. Learn more about SNI at www.smilenetwork.org/.
SNI funds surgical missions and provides necessary supplies needed to repair birth defects, with a focus on cleft lips, cleft palates and other conditions requiring surgical intervention such as burns, tumors or other genetic defects. The surgeries are free of charge and are available to children who would otherwise go untreated. For as little as $500 per surgery, a child who once lived with shame will be given the gift of a happier and healthier life.
