How much running do the wrestlers do?

At our Intensive Camps, we use running as a way to teach discipline—doing what you do when you don't want to do it—so each morning begins with an early wake-up call to go running. Our running workouts are different each day. A few examples can be found below:

  • Distance jogging
  • Interval training (jogging, running, sprinting)
  • Buddy carry runs (running while carrying partner fireman-style)
  • Stair workouts
  • Plate workouts (running while holding plate weights above head)
Some nights are also reserved for additional running or weight lifting (most nights are for technique review sessions).
