JROB Competition Camps are our take on the traditional team camp. We don’t run team-building activities like a traditional team camp, but we do run non-wrestling group competitions every day. These are done within your weight bracket at camp, not with your team. The rest of the day is devoted to improving each individual’s ability to compete through two daily technique sessions, instruction on the 4 principles of competition (preparation, performance, evaluation, adjustments), and a minimum of 8 full-length, refereed matches per wrestler. Also, after each match, each wrestler gets a 1-on-1 session with one of our counselors to review the match and talk about what they did well and what they need to improve.
