What was your favorite part of camp and why did you choose to come here?

My favorite part of camp was the free time with the diverse people. I chose to come to camp because I want to prove to all the people who doubt me that I can be the best.

Who is a role model that you look up to and why?

Role models I look up to would be my dad and my coach Guy Takahashi. My dad because he always believed in me and he was liked by a lot of people because of how nice he is. My coach because he pushed me to my limits and because he isn’t a hypocrite and always lives up to his word.

What/who is your inspiration to wrestle and why?

Winning. I don't necessarily enjoy the work and how tired I get but I love winning and I'm making the sacrifices of being a little tired just to be that much better at winning.

What is the most valuable thing you learned at camp?

The most valuable thing I learned at camp was to never cheat myself.

What's the most important quality that a successful wrestler must have?

To improve as a person I need to…

Do more and do the most difficult things rather than the easiest.

What was the hardest thing about camp?

Running without a doubt.

What advice would you give to a future camper?

Never quite no matter how hard it gets. Just keep moving.

What makes wrestling different from other sports/activities you participate in?

You can never get through anything in wrestling without it being tough.

Who was your favorite coach at camp and why?

My favorite coach was Darius Wright because he pushed me and was hard on me no matter what I did.
