Job Description:
Intern would be required to work closely with Merchandise Manager to create new designs for camp t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, embroidery, sweatshirts, catalog covers, brochures, etc., for the following areas.
- Minnesota Basketball
- Minnesota Hockey
- Minnesota Wrestling
- J Robinson Camps Basketball
- J Robinson Camps Hockey
- J Robinson Camps Wrestling
- Generic Basketball
- Generic Hockey
- Generic Wrestling
Applicant would research and learn about different forms of Screen Printing, Embroidery, design separation, etc. A schedule of designs would be discussed and reviewed on a weekly basis. Other duties of this position include but not limited to:
- Reviewing current list of designs and organizing them on CD’s and print catalogs
- Creating HTML Web designs for current website and store fronts.
- Updating photos and touch up current catalog photos.
- Creating promotional item, designs for future use in sale advertising.
- DVD and Video cover designs
- Helping with other duties involved with the merchandise department. Including, inventory, packing, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Applicants should be detail oriented, creative, and open to learn and create new ideas. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator 10, Quark Express, are necessary, Adobe InDesign CS and Adobe GoLive a plus. Mac based work environment.
This is an internship position, and will start with a one-month trial period, 10-15 hours a week. With qualified applicants this position may expand to a part-time, year round position. Compensation will be considered at the end of trial period, pending performance review.
