J Robinson Intensive Camps have become nationally recognized as the leaders in youth and high school sports training camps. We are currently seeking dedicated, energetic, organized and responsible candidates to manage the operations of our Camp Stores throughout the summer.
Responsibilities include:
- Run day-to-day operations of Camp Store…maximize sales to campers, execute transactions in cash/check/CC, maintain organized and clean environment, monitor inventory levels and communicate sales info/issues to Merchandise Manager, display signage for daily promotions, other duties as assigned.
- Set-up and take-down of Camp Store at the site of each camp session…unpack merchandise and set-up attractive displays (merchandise, supplies, signage, etc), pack up unsold merchandise at conclusion of camp and return it to Mpls office or ship to next site.
- Communication between Mpls office and camp site…communicate any store-related issues to Merchandise Manager and conduct daily/weekly status update as needed.
- Pre-camp inventory allocation and post-camp inventory and sales analysis
Requirements include:
- College degree achieved or in progress, preference will be given to candidates with athletic background and classroom/work experience related to Retail, Merchandising, and/or Marketing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High energy, out-going, creative, self-starter who is willing to take initiative
- Travel to several camp locations across the country throughout the summer
Positions available:
* Wrestling camps: 6/1-8/23 (12 wks); travel to IA, PA, CA and camp in Mpls
* Hockey camps: 6/5-8/25 (12 wks); travel to WI, OH, MO, NY and camps in Mpls
* Basketball camps: 6/12-8/18 (10 wks); travel to CA, NY and camp in Mpls

* Paid position qualifies as internship credit through most colleges/universities
* Travel to and from every camp, room and board during all camps
