Skills Development

You will be taught innovative drills at full speed to assist you in developing their strength, endurance, agility and quickness.   Daily fundamental sessions will establish and reinforce proper form and execution of shooting, passing, rebounding, ball handling, post/perimeter footwork and offensive/defensive sets.

Mental Discipline

“The game is 4 parts mental, to 1 part physical.”  J Robinson Intensive Basketball Camps believes mental discipline is a key component to your success that is frequently overlooked.   You will be taught the importance of mental discipline through concentration, relaxation and visualization sessions.

Classroom Instruction

Camp instructors teach the importance of being students of the game through classroom instruction and video presentation along with special guest speakers.  Campers receive training in game strategy, with interactive discussion on popular play calling and team-based strategies.

Strength Training and Conditioning

Plyometric and weight room sessions provide training techniques that are basketball specific.  Camp instructors provide athletes with dynamic movement technique, speed development, vertical jump improvement, proper weight training technique and nutritional tips developed for basketball players.  An off-season training manual will be provided to each athlete at the conclusion of camp.
