Pat Smith | Knee Slide Recovery Drill

Pat Smith, 2X USA World Team Member, shows a drill to help wrestlers get deeper on their opponent’s leg after shooting a high crotch. The key to this drill is to step up with your outside foot and slide your inside knee between your opponent’s feet while bringing your hips in tight. It may take multiple attempts to get your hips in tight enough to shift your opponent’s weight to his far foot.
