J Robinson Intensive Wrestling Camps offer a comprehensive approach to wrestling training, personal maturation, and life skills development. When your son or daughter comes to camp, they will be challenged with a unique experience that tests them as an athlete and as a person. We focus on technical skill development, strategy, physical training, and mental toughness. Our teaching philosophy is guided by what we call The J7—Discipline, Dedication, Sacrifice, Hard Work, Responsibility, Accountability, and Service. Your athlete will gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to be physically and mentally prepared, and what it means to work hard and practice hard. The lessons they retain will change their lives not just in wrestling, but in everything that they do.
In 2016, 124 former J Robinson campers became State Champions and another 370 became State Placewinners. Countless more achieved their goals of making state, getting to regionals, or simply improving on their record from the year before. Since 2010, 5 of our graduates have won NCAA Division I National Championships. J's history as a United States Olympian and Army Ranger inspired the rigorous, intense training regimen that pushes athletes to their physical and mental limits, and teaches them how to perform once they've hit the wall. They'll leave camp tougher, stronger, more disciplined, and more determined than ever to win.
Parents and coaches are welcome to visit our practices at any time. Since we began our camps in 1978, parents and coaches have always been allowed to watch each and every practice.
